Maureen O'Donnell is Director of Educational Services at Granite State Independent Living
Maureen has over 30 years of experience assisting individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain gainful employment. She has worked in partnership with New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation and has placed over 800 VR customers in successful job placements. Formerly, she was a Special Education teacher, who taught alternative education programs in New Hampshire and Connecticut. She has a wealth of knowledge in the field of rehabilitation, has developed and nurtured several employment sites, and worked closely with "school to work" transition programs in many school districts.
For the past 5 years, Maureen has directed the "Earn and Learn Opportunities" program. The program assists at risk high school students with disabilities to become re-engaged in their education by providing extended learning opportunities for academic credits. She has helped numerous students accomplish their goals of graduating from high school, developing independent living skills and obtaining employment.
